My name is Joanna.
I was born and raised in Manila, the Philippines. I studied in Spain and the U.S. I worked in the U.S. and China. And now I live and work in Mexico. After 10 years of moving, it seems like I have finally settled down.
I'm married to R (a.k.a. my gordo). An inspiring person. I learn something new from him everyday.
I'm a Mom to S. (a.k.a. my gourdito). An equally inspiring person. I also learn something new from him everyday. Usually it's something about myself.
I started this blog when I moved from Shanghai to Mexico City. New country, new experiences and I wanted to share it with all of you.
As it has evolved, it's not just about finding Mexico anymore. It's about finding myself...as a wife, as a mom, as an aspiring event planner, as many things maybe...but most importantly getting down to what drives me and makes me happy, which first and foremost is my family. But there are lots of other things out there that pique my interest.
I love reading other blogs and I'm inspired by people's words, photos, and ideas. I hope you find some inspiration here too. Thanks for taking the time.
